The Cake Mint is a South Florida–based custom cake and dessert studio specializing in beautifully crafted desserts designed to elevate life’s most meaningful celebrations.

Founded by a lifelong creative and passionate baker, The Cake Mint began as a simple curiosity that quickly grew into something more. In 2009, a cake decorating class sparked a love for transforming flour, sugar, and butter into edible works of art. What started as desserts for family gatherings soon became a growing request from friends, coworkers, and event hosts who wanted something special for their celebrations.

In 2015, that passion became a business with the launch of Shea’s Confections. As the brand evolved, so did the vision. In 2019, the business was reimagined and reintroduced as The Cake Mint, reflecting a fresh, creative approach to custom cake design.

Today, The Cake Mint creates custom cakes and desserts for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, graduations, and milestone events throughout South Florida. Each design is thoughtfully tailored to complement the style, theme, and personality of the celebration.
